Each step stops water in a different way. This is the sequence we use on every terrace, and the reason our work does not peel off in the next heavy rain.

The six steps, in section
- Step 01
Surface preparation
We grind off the loose, flaking top layer with wire cup wheels, so the new work sticks to strong concrete.
- Step 02
Pressure grouting
If a crack goes through the slab, we pump cement grout into it from the top or from below, until the full depth is filled.
- Step 03
Chipping and repacking
Loose and hollow patches are chipped out and filled again with polymer-mixed mortar, finished level with the slab.
- Step 04
Crack treatment
Surface cracks are cut into a V-groove, filled with epoxy and, after drying, sealed with a flexible PU sealant.
- Step 05
Coving
The joint between the terrace and every parapet wall is packed into a rounded fillet, so water does not stay in the corner.
- Step 06
Two-coat application
Two polymer-cement coats – the first brushed one way, the second across it after drying. Then a protective top coat in the colour you choose.
Every coat is dried fully before the next one. Grinding and grouting are done only where your terrace needs them — we tell you which steps are needed after the site visit.
We check, we write it down, then we do the work in order.
You get the full scope before any work starts, and you see water tested on the finished terrace before we leave.

We walk on the terrace and check the rooms below. We tap for hollow patches, trace the cracks and measure the area.

Written scope
A clear list of the steps your building needs and the measured area. One amount that covers labour, materials, transport and machinery.

Work in order
The steps are done in the order shown above, with proper drying time between coats. No step is skipped to save a day.

Water test and handover
We pour water on the finished surface and check it. Then we walk you through the work and how to maintain it.
Choose the colour. The waterproofing below is the same.
All three colours go over the same two waterproofing coats. The colour is only the top layer.
Terracotta
The usual terrace red. Warm look, hides dust and footmarks.
